Hi out there faithful listeners!
This evening's show will be really fun, as it begins with a great band of young fellas who call themselves Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band. I first heard of the band in 2005 when my mother (just a couple of years before hear death at the age of at 84), stole the CD from my niece Laura who was a big fan of the Rubber Band. Mom called me on the phone and said "Em...you HAVE to hear this song!.....It's called "Dream Big." She made me promise I'd take a listen. I did, so the first song of the show is for mom.
Eliza Gilkyson, Ben Harper, Tuck and Patti, Elton John, Alison Krauss/Robert Plant, and Terry McGuiness (all the way from Ireland!) round out the show.
Thanks to all who have stopped to say hello. I appreciate you and send song suggestions my way any time.

Greetings!
This coming Sunday's edition of The Mulberry Tree will really be a blast. I'll be acknowledging my sister Mary Jane's birthday, coming up on August 20th. We like to sing together whenever we get the chance, so I've picked out some of her favorites, and some that we choose when we feel like singing.
I'll be featuring tracks from the brother/sister duo Tim and Mollie O'Brien, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Nanci Griffith, Ricky Skaggs, Michael Martin Murphy, Ray Bonneville, The Beatles, Eva Cassidy, Pete Seeger and Tommy Emmanuel.
Stay tuned and remember if you have suggestions or comments, or just want to say hello, feel free to drop a line to:
